In June 2009 working in partnership with embassy staff in Cairo and Alexandria, TVET UK led a
scoping mission to Egypt with a view to identifying key opportunities by sector.
The visit was supported jointly by TVET UK, UKTI and DIUS and the group met with key contacts in government, national agencies, and industry from Cairo and Alexandria. As a result TVET UK will be working more closely with Egypt to develop collaborative partnerships and projects in the near future.
