TVET UK has expanded its influence in Kazakhstan into the financial sector, following a high profile delegation from the City of London’s commercial district to the country.
TVET UK Director, Matthew Anderson, was invited to accompany the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Ian Luder, on his recent visit to Kazakhstan. The aim of the visit was to promote the UK's financial services sector, and to reinforce existing commercial and political relationships. The programme included visits to Baku, Almaty and Astana with meetings in both countries planned with Government Ministers, the Central Bank, Stock Exchange and City Mayors.
TVET UK members will benefit from the forming of such high profile contacts and the profile of the organisation has been raised within both the UK and Kazakh business communities.
