Doing Business with Aid and Donor Agencies - Meet the Experts
Last year an estimated US$120 billion was spent by the International Aid/Donor Agencies in purchasing goods and services from the private sector to assist the developing world. Knowing how to compete for these lucrative contracts can be difficult. UK Trade & Investment have organised a series of one-day events around the UK giving you the opportunity to meet one-to-one with our Liaison Officers, who can provide you with the right information and contacts.
Based in Consulates and Embassies around the world where the Agencies have their headquarters, they work closely with them, and are in a unique position to help UK companies win business. They offer a wealth of knowledge about their respective Agencies and can open up for meetings with key personnel responsible for procurement.
What is on offer?
• A general introduction to the international aid/donor sector, which will be repeated three times during the day.
• Hear the opportunities available to your business
• Understand the procurement requirements of the Agencies and where your firm may fit in
• One-to-one meetings with our experts around your chosen presentation. Get a chance to speak with Officers liaising with: The World Bank and Regional Development Banks, European Union external aid, the UN Aid Organisations and the World Health Organisation. For more information about our Liaison Officers, follow this link.
This event will provide you with an overview of the activities of the Agencies, allowing you to decide where best to focus your efforts.
Who should attend?
Any company that has products or services that it thinks will be of benefit to the organisations cannot afford to miss out on this opportunity.
Please revert to each event flyer for registration information.
