Thanet College's programmes include degree Foundation courses to prepare for UK undergraduate study, A- levels, or vocational diplomas in subjects such as Business, Computing, Hotel Management, Art & Design, Travel & Tourism, Airline Study and Hair and Beauty Therapy.  

The College has two fully equipped salons where Hair and Beauty students receive their practical work experience as part of their course.  The College has also recently spent £3 million on new kitchens and restaurants, which provide students on the Professional Chefs and Hospitality Management courses with the perfect environment to learn the latest skills.  The Travel and Tourism department has a cabin simulator for the airline cabin crew students to practice in. 

Thanet College holds a CoVE for Hotel and Catering.  Thanet College has an EFL Section offering English language courses all year round to students from all over the world.  The EFL Section is accredited by the British Council and prides itself on its friendly yet professional atmosphere.  Thanet College also offers English Plus course for those interested in work experience, Beauty Therapy, Wine and Spirits, Air cabin Crew and Nail Art.

Thanet College has over 20 years experience working with International students. It currently has links with colleges and universities in Japan, Russia, China and South Korea.  These partnerships provide a variety of services, such as summer school course, work experience packages, teacher training and capacity building. 

Thanet College is located in the seaside town of Broadstairs, which offers a fresh and quiet environment in which to study and is only 5 minutes walk from the beach.  We are only 1 hour 40 minutes from London by train, 20 minutes from the historical city of Canterbury and two and a half hours from Paris by Eurostar.

Accommodation is arranged by our International Student Support Officer with selected English host families within 20 minutes walk of the College or a 10 minute bus ride.
