Boxford has been producing equipment for schools for more than 60 years.  Manual Lathes, Mills and Drills have given way to CNC / CADCAM machines in recent years, which work in conjunction with any CAD system and our own CAD/CAM DESIGN TOOLS software, said to be the simplest to use yet most powerful educational CAM software in the world.  The components for our equipment are produced at our Halifax factory, in our own machining and sheet-metal fabrication facilities respectively, guaranteeing the availability of spare parts into the future.  Outside the UK our products are sold via a network of agents, ably supported by our own Export Sales Manager and our Customer Service Engineers. 

Our equipment is suitable for use in secondary schools, Vocational / FE Colleges, Universities and Industrial Engineering Training Centres.  Our software is suitable for use by novices, through every educational stage up to industrial level and uses different methodologies to achieve the same thing at each of the educational stages.  Our CNC machines can interface with Robotics and Mechatronics systems etc. produced by various specialist companies.  The company is not aligned to any particular CAD system, yet embraces them all.  Boxford is soundly financed with a strong balance sheet and no long-term debt.
