We are a Centre of Vocational Excellence in Hospitality and Catering, Tourism, Railway Signalling and Engineering and in Stonemasonry. We have recently been ranked in the top 10 colleges in England by the Times Educational Supplement. The College has a history back to 1827 but moved to a new campus with exceptional facilities in 2007.
We have been actively involved in international work for over 20 years and educate students from all over the world (20 different countries in 2009).  Our main programmes are English as a Foreign Language, with flexible entry throughout the year, and the York International Foundation Programme , accredited by the University of York which gives entry requirements to York and many other top universities.  Our international work is accredited by the British Council and we are members of English UK.
