Established in 1947, Havering College of Further and Higher Education, has been actively involved international projects and partners for more than five years with active initiatives in Russia, Siberia, Turkey, USA, Nigeria, Iraq and Yemen.

The “Heart of England International Academy” (HEIA) is the collaborative working partnership of Stratford-upon-Avon College (founded 1877) and City College Coventry (founded 1832). HEIA has around 400 international students in total, 213 on Warwick University Higher Education Foundation Programmes in Business Studies and Social Sciences, most from Asian countries; and around 150 on Hospitality programmes from France. Both colleges provide homestay accommodation in close vicinity to the colleges and Stratford-upon-Avon College has residential en-suite accommodation for 256 students, the majority being international students.

HME Technology manufactures and supplies educational equipment for Design & Technology and Vocational Engineering Departments, including Heat Treatment Equipment, Fume Extraction, Wood Dust Extraction, Woodworking and Metalworking Equipment in manual and CNC forms, Gas Safety Systems, and COSHH testing services. We also provide a full turnkey service including planning, drawings, full installation and servicing to British Standard 4163 2007 and UK Department for Education BB81.
