‘TVET UK is the only membership organisation focussing on skills development, which is what Twin is all about’

Established in London more than 15 years ago, Twin is a very successful private training provider with over 50,000 students, a large percentage of whom are from overseas. Twin offers a wide range of vocational courses and qualifications, including travel and tourism and hospitality, from entry level to Foundation Degree.
As well as operating very successfully in the UK, Twin has made significant inroads into international markets, including a newly opened school in Florida, USA and strong partnerships with providers in China.
Caroline Fox, Co Founder and Managing Director of the Twin Group, is looking to build upon this success and is particularly interested in developing business in the Middle East, India, Korea and Europe. She says; ‘To make significant inroads internationally, we need to work with an organisation that understands us and what we do and can help us make relevant contacts; an organisation that speaks the same language. There are lots of educational organisations working in the international market but, until the arrival of TVET UK, there weren’t any focussing on skills training. TVET UK is in tune with what we do and is proactive in finding real opportunities for its members.’
Since joining TVET UK, TWin has had a successful trip to Kazakhstan and is now working with agents there. TVET UK seminars and presentations have provided information on Worldbank funding, which is invaluable in planning future projects. As a TVET UK member, she has recently enjoyed a reduced delegate fee to the Turkish agent fair.
