We will be running our 8^th trade mission to Kazakhstan in March.  Details and precise dates will follow although it’s likely to be w/c 17^th March to follow up on the college partnership project.

It is planned to spend several days after the Kazakh mission in Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

TVET UK has been asked to run a small trade mission to Turkmenistan to take advantage of the growing opportunities for UK education. This mission will take place week commencing 24 March. Following our successful EU project to reform the vocational education system in Turkmenistan, TVET UK is uniquely placed to promote UK interests in tourism, agriculture, construction, engineering etc. Some TVET UK members are already close to securing contracts from previous scoping missions.

To tie in with the visit to the region TVET UK will be scoping the Tajikistan market. Asian Development Bank has made significant funds available to the Tajikistan government and they have prioritised raising the skills levels of its population. TVET UK hopes to develop a number of projects and fulfil them using UK capability.
